Abarth Remapping services

In 2012 we began development of the big turbo project which resulted in the Turbo Technics S260 and with it came the need to re-programme the Bosch ECU to calibrate the changes and give reliable power for motor racing.

We are now able to offer a number of ECU tuning services on all Abarth 500 / 595 / 695 models. Unlike most tuners we only specialise in Abarth and write our files in-house using years of cumulative knowledge of the T-Jet engine.

Our experience in remapping and data logging goes back to the 80s when Dawson Auto Developments created the first data logger for use in motorsport. It had 128k memory and could only record RPM for 2 laps!

In 1989 Dawson Auto Developments were in charge of preparation for Daihatsu Group N rally cars, specifically the Daihatsu charade GTti. D.A.D developed an ECU for the Charade thanks to a clause in the Group N regulations stating that you are allowed to make changes to the ECUs resistors. New boards were fitted into the Denso ECU casings with revised mapping that increased power & torque . These ECUs are still well sought after today and known as D.A.D ECUs.
